Our annual Pet Contest is in full swing! Appointments are going so fast we decided to extend it for an extra week. The contest is now running until February 16th. This year we are working with East Coast Canine Rescue. To learn more about this amazing organization, click the link: ECCR

We want to help you get to know all of our lovely and amazing contestants. Many of these wonderful animals were rescued and adopted through ECCR. Every week leading up to the contest voting we will be sharing blurbs about each participant. Some you may recognize from previous years but we also have lots of new faces this year. Here are some of the amazing pups that have come in so far!

WENDELL & WALSH: These first two adorable Pit Bull Boxer mixes are 3 months old and up for adoption through ECCR. They both love chewing on toys and sitting your your feet! Wendell is the quiet shy one while Walsh is more outgoing. If you’d like more information about them please visit ECCR’s website: ECCR

MAGGIE: She is a 2 year old Pit Bull mix. She was adopted from NECCOG as a pup. She enjoys hiking and playing. She is also described as the protector of her family.

RILEY: She is also a Pit Bull mix and is 2.5 years old. Like Maggie she was adopted from NECCOG as well. She is very loving and her family describes her as a bit of a “spaz”.

ROXY: She is a 4.5 year old Pit Bull. She loves eating, hiking, and playing with her toys. She’s the comedian of her family.

MIA: She is a 3.5 year adopted Pit Bull. She loves sleeping and cuddling. She’s the quiet and laid back on in the family. She can also be a bit of a scardey cat. Everyday objects, like gates and remotes, can send her running.

DAKOTA: This beautiful girl is an 8 month Husky mix. She was adopted through ECCR. She has such a fun personality! Her favorite pastimes include chasing cats, napping and playing with toys.

MARLEY: This beautiful Lab Pit Bull mix was a rescue from ECCR. She had been found with battery acid poured down her back. She may still carry the scars on her body but she is a complete sweetheart. She loves playing with her deer friends in her backyard. She was also on the Channel 3 news!

SCARLETT: She is a black and tan Border Collie who was also adopted from ECCR. She is about 1 year old. This cuddle-bug is low key and loves to snuggle.

HARPER: She is a 5 month Catahoula mix. She’s got a great goofy personality and loves to snuggle with her family.

APPLE: This adorable girl is a 12 week old rescued Pit Bull from ECCR. She loves to play and has the cutest ears! She was under the Christmas tree with a red bow on this past Christmas.

JACK: He is an adorable brown Boston Terrier. He loves nothing more then digging under a huge pile of blankets to sleep.
