The Classic Session is a great way to get a good variety of images in up to 2 outfits. This session takes place at our studio and includes in studio portraits, outside studio portraits or both. This session may not be rescheduled for a later date if the weather does not cooperate. This 60-minute session allows plenty of time to bring out the best in you.

This creative session is the perfect way to get variety and take the show on the road! This session starts at the studio for some fun creative studio images. This 2-hour session allows plenty of time to travel to a location of your choice that is within 15-minutes of the studio. We can go to a local park, downtown area, river, lake… the possibilities are endless. Unlimited clothing changes, props and pets are welcome.

We can go to your home, your grandparents home, downtown area, rivers… the possibilities are endless. Unlimited clothing changes, props, family and pets are welcome.

BOOMERANG

Come back all year long!
Let us capture your whole senior year! Seniors can keep coming back all year long, with Boomerang Sessions! These sessions allow you to add onto your Senior Book. Why have just one photoshoot, when you can keep adding to your Senior Story all year long?
How it works:
- Your first session is your main senior photoshoot. Choose from our sessions above for your main session! You select images to be included in your Senior Book, and order anything you need for the wall or family.
- We put your book on pause so that we can add onto it with a Boomerang Session. (Don't worry, you still get your shareable files while your book is on hold!)
- Book as many Boomerang Sessions as you would like, all year long. You will still get a viewing and ordering session as well, to decide what to add-on to your Senior Book!
- Boomerang Sessions are 30 minutes and can be in studio or on location, within 30 minutes of the studio.
- Once you've chosen a wide variety of images to add, we custom design and create your book!
After your main session, Boomerang Sessions are only $49 for in studio, $69 on location. Then order what you want to finish out your book.

Class of 2027 - Great value session
Cat Hollow
Cat Hollow is a great park featuring a waterfall, brook and bridge. This 30 minute group session showcases 15-20 images for you to view and order from. Perfect for the person who likes to hike, rides mountain bikes and wants to bring the dog! Your $225 session fee includes a $150 print credit.
Harkness
Join us at Harkness Park for a magical garden, beach, and architecture session. This group session has a total of 4 members. This 60-minute session is $295 and allows you to view and order from 25-30 images and includes a $200 print credit.
Wickham
Wickham Park is a beautiful area to have your senior portraits created at. The fee to enter the park is $7 and is not included in your session fee. This is a group session with a total of 4 people. This 60-minute session is $295 and allows you to view and order from 25-30 images. Included is a $200 print credit.

Tips for your session
Once your senior portrait session is booked, start planning your outfits, accessories, props, and personal items. Lay everything out the night before, steam or iron your clothing, and bring anything that helps tell your story — sports gear, instruments, pets, your car, books, art supplies, or anything meaningful to you. HAIR & MAKEUP
Don’t try a new hairstyle just for your session; have it cut about a week before your appointment. Fresh, natural makeup as well as “evening” makeup photograph well.
GLASSES
Problems with glasses can lead to extra retouching charges. We can remove normal glare on glasses, but tinted lenses cannot be lightened even with artwork. If your glasses are tinted or exceptionally thick, they can distort the way the camera photographs the eye. In this case, you should ask your optometrist for a pair of plain glass frames to wear for your portrait session.
WARDROBE
Stick to a clean look with solid colors. Be sure to pick something that represents you! Bold stripes, plaids, checks, and prints are visually confusing and do not photograph well.
Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQs)
Most seniors book their portraits during the summer before senior year or early fall. Booking early gives you the best choice of dates, outdoor locations, and enough time for yearbook deadlines.
Solid colors, outfits that fit well, and clothing that feels like your personality photograph best. We help plan your wardrobe before the session so you feel confident and prepared.
A: We are at Mother Nature’s mercy. If it’s cloudy, or looks like rain, that’s OK. No worries. If you are scheduled for a Creative, or Luxe session with outdoor portraits, and there is a high probability of rain or high temps of 95+ degrees, we will call you and reschedule your portrait session the day before. Unless you want to bring an umbrella and have fun in the rain! Classic sessions are not available for rescheduling; these sessions will take place in the studio rain or shine.
A: Absolutely! We encourage all of those for our Luxe, Creative & Classic sessions! Activities cover much more than main stream school activities. Maybe it’s dance, art, books, swimming, sports or gaming. If you want to include your car, make sure it’s clean. Unless it’s a Jeep – the dirtier the better there! We will help you plan out what you might bring during our zoom consultation.
A: Some schools require that you use “their” photographer so the photos all look the same. Of course you can purchase from whomever you want and do not have to buy from them. If your school allows you to turn in your own photo, yes! We will take care of you and supply them with any photos they need. Just let us know if they have any specific requirement.
A: Photo shoots are often booked ahead. Depending on time of year, it can take anywhere from 2 to 4+ weeks to get a photo shoot. You portraits are typically ready to be viewed and ordered from in 4-7 business days. Finished print orders normally take 4-6 weeks to complete.
A: Payment at Charleen’s is broken up, making it easier to get what you want. Your photoshoot fee is due when you schedule your session. The day of the session any remaining fees/retainers to your session/collection are due. When you order, we deduct your initial retainer toward your order balance. At the time of order, half of any remaining balances are due. The final remaining balance is due upon delivery/pickup.
A: That totally depends on what you want. Some invest $500, some invest $2000. If you budget $1200, that will cover all of your basic needs. But don’t be surprised if you love them all and want to buy more.
