This week, meet Erin, a local KHS senior. She’s a vivacious girl of many talents and has big plans for her future. She’s a soccer aficionado having played on 3 teams this past year as well as being an assistant coach for a U6 team. She states, “As you can tell, I love soccer, especially my high school team. We’ve played together for so long. My teammates are my best friends, my family.”
Erin also does indoor and outdoor track, focusing primarily on pole vaulting. In additional to all this she is the Vice President for the National Honor Society as well as in Link Crew and the Future Business Leaders of America. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home.
For Erin’s senior portrait session we had a great afternoon exploring downtown Putnam. So here’s a sneak peak of some of her beautiful images as well as a little bit more about Erin herself…
- What are your plans after high school?
I plan to attend college in either Boston or New York and get my MBA. My goal is to work in the city.
- What is your favorite high school memory so far?
The trip to Italy and Greece! We went when this past school year ended. It was truly amazing! We learned so much about the world and how fortunate we are in the United States. My mom and I then continued our European Adventure to Sweden, where we stayed with friends. This was a once in a lifetime trip that made me so culturally diverse.
- What will you miss most about high school?
I will definitely miss my friends and high school soccer.
- What will you miss the least?
- How have you changed since freshman year?
I’ve become more mature and organized.
- Finish this sentence: I will always remember…
…how much fun I had during soccer season.
- Looking back, what’s one piece of advice you’d offer to an incoming freshman?
Take your grades seriously beginning freshman year. Don’t wait to try hard because you think you have time to get your grades up.
- Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
CFO of a major company, maybe even an international one. I absolutely love to travel.
- What are your favorite classes? Least favorite?
My favorite class is A.P. U.S. History and my least favorite is Chemistry.
- What are you looking forward to the most in your Senior Year?
Soccer and GRADUATING!
What was your experience like at Charleen’s. Did you enjoy it?
I loved my photo shoot in downtown Putnam. It was so much fun! Charleen made me feel so comfortable.
Thank you Erin for letting us feature you on our blog. Best of luck to you during your senior year and beyond!
